World War III? Nah, Just Follow the Oil Money

by Adam & Ramsay

"They Don't Know what the F*CK they're DOING!"

- 47th President of the United States of America... Donald J Trump

The Iran Play: Follow the Oil Money

The numbers don't lie. Brent futures rallied by $5/bbl to $74/bbl after Israel's 13 June air strikes on Iran's nuclear and military facilities.

Meanwhile, the S&P 500 barely blinked. The index posted its second consecutive weekly gain, finishing up 1.5% from the previous Friday and sits just 2.34% below its record close from February 19th, 2025.

The Real Game

This isn't about nuclear weapons. Iran controls the Strait of Hormuz – 25% of global oil transit. America's involvement is about maintaining energy hegemony and the petrodollar system that props up our economy.

The playbook is ancient: create instability, justify intervention, control resources. We've run this script in Iraq, Libya, and Syria. Iran is just the sequel with better special effects

The Human Cost we Ignore

Here's what keeps me up at night: 56,077 killed in Gaza, 13,438 civilians dead in Ukraine, including 713 children. Meanwhile, we maintain over 100 nuclear submarines patrolling the world's oceans.

The math is obscene. The US spends $816 billion on defence while children die in rubble. When does the hunger for power finally eat itself?

The market will recover from Iran's volatility in weeks. Those 70,000+ dead won't recover at all.

Look, even though I'm only 21, even I know that this is pretty insane.

This is what happens when you let someone treat geopolitics like a goddamn Twitter beef. I did Model UN in high school, and if any of us had pulled this kind of amateur-hour diplomatic theatre, we would have been expelled faster than you can say "point of order."

Here's the brutal math: We're watching the most powerful office on earth conduct foreign policy like it's a reality TV show. You don't announce military strategies on social media. You don't casually mention where foreign leaders are hiding. And you sure as hell don't toggle between "friendly plane waves" and bombing ultimatums in the span of a few hours like you're updating your Instagram story. At least that's what I thought...

The real tragedy? This kind of reckless signalling creates exactly the type of uncertainty that leads to miscalculations. Wars have started over less. When allies can't predict your next move and enemies can't gauge your red lines, people die.

the end.

INTERN 2 CEO

Meet Your Founders: Ramsay & Adam Let's be honest: 99% of career advice comes from people who either haven't worked a real job in decades or are selling you something. Ramsay and Adam aren't those people. They're Brand Management students- which, let's face it, is a fancy way of saying they're learning how to make people buy shit they don't need. Here's what separates these two from every other LinkedIn optimization guru: they actually give a damn about leaving the world better than they found it. Revolutionary concept, right? While their peers are grinding for Goldman Sachs or chasing crypto fantasies, Ramsay and Adam figured out something the data actually supports: the most successful people aren't just climbing ladders — they're building them for others. The math is simple: help others win, and you win bigger. They've seen inside the #1 Beauty company in the world, they know how the sausage gets made. And instead of just cashing checks and updating their resumes, they decided to create something that matters: a newsletter that tells young people the truth about building careers in an economy that's rigged against them. No fluffy motivation. No "follow your passion" bullshit. Just real talk from two guys who are living the intern-2-CEO journey in real time, sharing what actually works and calling out what doesn't. Because here's the uncomfortable truth backed by actual data: if you're under 40, you're getting screwed. College costs have exploded 1,200% since 1980 while wages stayed flat. The average 30-year-old today has half the wealth their parents had at the same age. But here's the flip side most doom-scrollers miss: you're also the most educated, globally connected, and technologically empowered generation in human history. The question isn't whether the system is rigged: it is. The question is what you're going to do about it. Real talk. No Bullshit.
